Attend to hear the latest from the industry “coal face” on key infrastructure expansion milestones.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Queensland Resources Export Infrastructure conference.
Queensland has prioritised rebuilding the resources sector export infrastructure after the devastating January 2011 floods, which damaged significant mine site, road, rail and port facilities. Almost 90 percent of Queensland’s operating coal mines were affected by the deluge. The State is investing $17.1 billion in the 2010-2011 financial year alone on infrastructure to help rebuild and clear the backlog in contracted coal exports which has accumulated as a result of the destruction of infrastructure.
The Queensland Resources Export Infrastructure conference will deliver timely updates on key infrastructure rebuilding and expansion milestones. This September event has been designed with the support and guidance of experts specialising in mining and resources.
